Anger is one of the most powerful – and misunderstood – forces in relationships. It can create distance and hurt… or become a gateway to truth, vitality, and deeper intimacy.
This international online training is designed for individual therapists, couples therapists, and body-oriented practitioners who wish to deepen their work with anger and rage in a grounded, embodied, and relational way.
At the heart of this professional workshop, lies a key understanding: Much of our uncontrolled anger is rooted in early experiences.
Unprocessed childhood rage—moments of overwhelm, helplessness, or not being seen—remains stored in the body, and in adult relationships can erupt as intense, disproportionate reactivity.
In this training, we approach anger not as a problem to fix, but as life energy shaped by our history and held in the body.
We Will Explore:
Through the integrative BP4C approach (Body Psychotherapy for Couples):
How anger escalates.
How it is held in the body.
How it shapes couple dynamics.
Many therapists feel uncertain when working with intense anger:
How do we contain it without suppressing it
How do we support expression without escalation?
And how do we stay grounded as therapists in the midst of emotional intensity?
You will learn to:
Identify early signs of activation in the body.
Work with fight responses in a safe and constructive way.
Support clients in transforming anger into clarity, boundaries, and authentic contact.
We will also explore the relational field of anger—how it moves between people, how couples co-create escalation cycles, and how somatic awareness can interrupt these patterns and open new possibilities.
Participants will gain confidence in working with intensity, while supporting both individuals and couples to remain present within activation.
This is not about calming anger—it's about learning to stay with it and transform it, so that what once erupted as unconscious rage becomes a clear, embodied force for truth, boundaries, and real connection.
