Advanced Body Psychotherapy Workshop

Sunday, 11th October 2026
16:00-20:00 (UK) | 17:00-21:00 (EU) | 10:00-14:00 (USA-NY)
The body often learns to be silent, not because it has nothing to say, but because it has adapted in order to protect itself, from what was once too overwhelming and painful.
Beneath symptoms, emotions, narratives, and relational patterns, the body holds an implicit story.
It remembers what the mind has forgotten, what words cannot fully describe and express. It remains unfinished and waiting for a resolution within the organism.
This workshop is open to psychotherapists, counsellors, body psychotherapists, psychologists, coaches, and BodyMind practitioners from around the world.
WE WILL EXPLORE AND LEARN
How emotional experiences, unmet needs, developmental wounds, and memories become embodied and continue to influence our clients lives beyond conscious awareness.
How the body develops protective strategies, energetic holding patterns, and how these adaptations can be approached with respect, curiosity, and therapeutic sensitivity.
To listen beyond words - Developing and enhancing the ability to perceive subtle bodily signals, energetic shifts, relational cues, and somatic expressions that reveal what remains unspoken within the therapeutic encounter.
How to work with the body as a therapeutic field - Exploring the therapist’s capacity to attune to the organism’s natural movement toward regulation and healing, somatic resonance, and embodied presence.
The process from protection to transformation of deeply held patterns can gradually soften, allowing new experiences of safety, connection, authenticity, and embodied aliveness to emerge.
Practical tools for clinical practice while working with Biodynamic Psychotherapy principles, breath, grounding, somatic awareness, emotional expression, energetic flow, and relational processes which support integration, release, and greater vitality.
This workshop will include
- Theoretical understanding
- Biodynamic and somatic perspectives
- Guided experiential practices
- Clinical applications
- Relational and embodied exercises
- Reflective dialogue and integration
- Practical tools for therapeutic work
